How can we help you in finding your mental PEACE?
How can we help you in finding your mental PEACE?

Appointment Lengths & What to Expect
We strive to provide each client with the time and attention needed to ensure a thoughtful, personalized experience. Appointment lengths vary depending on the service being provided, allowing us to gather a comprehensive understanding of your concerns while delivering high-quality, evidence-based care.
-
Individual Therapy
-
Initial Intake Appointment: Approximately 60–90 minutes
-
Ongoing Therapy Sessions: 53 minutes
-
Your initial intake allows your provider to gain a thorough understanding of your history, current concerns, treatment goals, and areas of strength. Follow-up sessions are designed to build on this foundation through collaborative, goal-oriented treatment.
-
Couples & Relationship Therapy
-
Initial Intake Appointment: Approximately 75–90 minutes
-
Ongoing Couples Sessions: 80 minutes
-
Couples therapy appointments are intentionally longer than traditional therapy sessions to provide both partners with adequate time to share their perspectives, work through concerns, and engage in meaningful therapeutic interventions together.
-
Psychological Assessment
-
Comprehensive psychological evaluations are a multi-step process that typically requires 8–12 hours from start to finish. While testing is often completed across one or more appointments, the total time includes every phase of the evaluation, including:
-
A comprehensive clinical interview
-
Administration of psychological and neuropsychological assessment measures
-
Scoring and interpretation of test results
-
Integration of clinical and collateral data
-
Preparation of a detailed written report
-
A personalized feedback session to review results, answer questions, and discuss recommendations
-
-
Our assessment process is designed to provide more than a diagnosis; it offers meaningful insight into your cognitive, emotional, behavioral, and psychological functioning, along with individualized recommendations to guide treatment, educational planning, workplace accommodations, or other areas of need.
Insurance & Out-of-Network Benefits
At My Mental PEACE, we are an out-of-network provider and do not bill insurance companies directly. This allows us to provide personalized, high-quality care without many of the limitations that can accompany insurance-based treatment, such as session restrictions, required diagnoses, or limitations on treatment approaches.
For clients with out-of-network mental health benefits, we are happy to provide a superbill upon request. A superbill is a detailed receipt that includes the information your insurance company may require to process reimbursement for eligible services. After your appointment, you may submit the superbill directly to your insurance provider, and any reimbursement will be sent to you according to your specific out-of-network benefits.
Because insurance plans vary widely, we encourage clients to contact their insurance carrier to learn more about their out-of-network mental health coverage, reimbursement rates, deductibles, and any documentation requirements. If you have questions about our fees, the superbill process, or whether out-of-network services may be a good fit for you, please don't hesitate to contact our office. We are happy to help you understand your options and make the process as smooth as possible.
Psychological
Engagement
-
Individual Therapy
-
Our individual therapy services provide a supportive, collaborative setting where clients can explore their thoughts, emotions, and experiences while developing practical strategies for lasting change in a one-on-one setting.
-
We work with individuals experiencing a variety of concerns, including anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, stress, relationship challenges, grief, identity development, self-esteem, and other emotional or behavioral difficulties. Our clinicians recognize that healing looks different for every person, and in individual therapy, you can receive the specialized attention you deserve.
-
As a part of our mission to increase accessibility, we maintain a select number of spaces for sliding-scale treatment options for those who need it. Be sure to ask about this during your Initial Consultation.

Couples & Relationship Therapy
-
Whether you are preparing for marriage, navigating conflict, rebuilding after a separation, adjusting to major life transitions, or simply looking to strengthen your relationship, our couples therapy services are designed to help partners reconnect and move forward together.
-
We work collaboratively with couples to improve communication, strengthen emotional connection, navigate conflict effectively, and foster healthier patterns of interaction. We strive to create a safe, balanced environment where both partners feel heard, respected, and empowered to work toward shared goals.
-
Featured Service: Couples with a Couple, a unique approach to relationship therapy.
-
We are proud to offer Couples with a Couple, a distinctive therapy experience in which couples work directly with two married clinicians. Rather than meeting with a single therapist, clients benefit from the perspectives of two clinicians who collaborate throughout the therapeutic process while drawing from both their professional expertise and lived experience as a married couple.
-
This model offers a richer therapeutic experience by providing balanced perspectives, increasing opportunities for insight, and creating a dynamic environment where both partners can feel understood. Our goal is not to provide "relationship advice" based on our own marriage, but to utilize evidence-based couples therapy techniques while demonstrating collaborative communication, mutual respect, and healthy problem-solving.
-
Couples with a Couple is ideal for couples seeking premarital counseling, relationship enrichment, communication improvement, conflict resolution, rebuilding trust, or navigating significant life transitions together.

Assessment
Our comprehensive psychological assessment services are designed to provide clarity, answer important diagnostic questions, and guide treatment planning through a thorough and individualized evaluation process.
Assessments may be appropriate for concerns related to attention and executive functioning, learning difficulties, mood and personality functioning, trauma, diagnostic clarification, and other psychological or cognitive concerns. Our evaluation process integrates extensive clinical interviews, standardized neuropsychological testing, behavioral observations, and, when appropriate, collateral information to provide a comprehensive understanding of each client's strengths and areas of need.
Rather than simply providing a diagnosis, our goal is to offer meaningful answers and practical recommendations that help clients, families, healthcare providers, schools, and employers better understand and support continued growth and success.
Comprehensive evaluations for:
-
ADHD
-
Diagnostic clarification
-
Personality and emotional challenges
-

Community
Empowerment
We believe that promoting mental wellness extends beyond the therapy office and into the communities where people live, work, learn, and connect. We partner with schools, nonprofit organizations, businesses, faith communities, healthcare organizations, and other local groups to provide engaging workshops, presentations, and educational programming that increase awareness, reduce stigma, and promote psychological well-being. Although this can be requested as a paid service for specialized groups, we strive to seek collaborations as a part of our own way of giving back to the community.
Workshop topics are tailored to the needs of each organization and may include stress management, burnout prevention, resilience, workplace wellness, emotional intelligence, trauma-informed care, psychological safety, leadership development, diversity and cultural responsiveness, and other mental health topics.
Our goal is to build meaningful partnerships that strengthen individuals, organizations, and the broader community by making mental health education accessible, practical, and impactful.
