Welcome to My Mental PEACE,

Our approach is rooted in collaboration. We recognize that each person's journey is different, and we work alongside our clients to identify strengths, deepen self-understanding, and create personalized paths toward healing and growth. Through comprehensive assessment, therapeutic support, and community-centered care, we strive to empower individuals, couples, families, and communities to better understand impeding factors preventing desired growth and move toward lives that feel more balanced, connected, and fulfilling.

At My Mental PEACE, we are especially committed to increasing access to high-quality mental health services for historically underserved and marginalized communities. We believe that everyone deserves care that respects their identity, values their experiences, and supports their ability to thrive. Although we are not a community practice, we are a practice for the community.

Our Commitment to Clients and the Communities We Serve:

  • Providing culturally responsive and identity-affirming care

  • Delivering evidence-based therapy and comprehensive psychological assessment

  • Creating a safe, welcoming, and nonjudgmental therapeutic environment

  • Supporting personal growth, resilience, and self-understanding

  • Promoting mental wellness within individuals, families, and communities

  • Empowering clients through education, insight, and collaborative treatment planning.

  • Striving to offer supportive, free, and affordable options via collaborations with other organizations for workshops and other programming.

Healing begins with understanding. Our goal is to help you find clarity, connection, and peace along your journey.

We look forward to working with you.

Jonathon Johnson, PsyD

Practice co-owner

Hello, my name is Dr Jonathon Johnson, and I am the Practice Co-Owner and Co-Founder of My Mental PEACE. I am trained as a clinical psychologist and have years of experience providing therapy in university and private practice settings. I also have years of experience conducting neuropsychological, personality, and forensic evaluations for government and private institutions. I am very community-oriented and find joy in supporting people of all walks of life, whether it is through clinical work, speaking engagements, or partnering with local organizations/institutions seeking to support the mental health of those they are connected to. I enjoy supporting other mental health and medical providers via clinical consultation and mentorship, and I have some experience providing organizational consultation. Although it's hard for me to see it, I'm known to be a "social butterfly," and I enjoy spending time with loved ones, going to the movies, and winning escape rooms.

My clinical style is collaborative, explorative, and dynamically focused. I enjoy helping clients process challenging past events and determine how they can create a meaningful future to look forward to. I thoroughly look forward to being able to support YOUR MENTAL, find PEACE.

Celeste Johnson, PsyD

Practice co-owner

Hello, my name is Dr. Celeste Johnson, and I am the Practice Co-Owner and Co-Founder of My Mental PEACE. I am trained as a clinical psychologist with experience providing therapy in university counseling and private-practice settings. My clinical style is warm, collaborative, and rooted in the belief that people deserve care that honors the whole person. I value helping clients feel understood while supporting them in building insight, emotional awareness, coping skills, self-compassion, and confidence in their own voice. My hope is to support each client in caring for their mental health in a way that helps them find their own sense of peace; one that feels grounded, meaningful, and true to who they are. In addition to therapy, I have experience developing and facilitating mental health workshops, group programming, presentations, and community-centered wellness initiatives.

As a person, I bring curiosity, humor, creativity, compassion, and a deep love of learning into the work I do. I am thoughtful, intentional in how I connect with others, and someone who genuinely values rest, reflection, and downtime. Outside of work, I highly value spending time with loved ones, traveling, having good conversations, finding moments of joy and fun, and embracing the journey of life.
